Little Maxwell is so sweet and very affectionate. He gives me kisses without me asking. Almost like he knows I would really love a kiss from him at that moment. He cuddles up and sleeps right under my chin or he likes to curl up on the side of my ribs when I am on my side and he snuggles in and falls asleep. I am honestly blown away at how loving he is. He is a dream come true. I just want to hold him and admire him when I am home. His little being holds my focus like no other. I noticed that I am not on the computer much since he has been here and I am not fussing around the house trying to keep busy and I have no desire to watch tv. He is almost like therapy or a healing medicine. He has a way with his love that just takes all my stresses and makes them nonexistent. I am so thankful for him.
It was worth the wait to find him. I kept looking and looking but never felt the tug on my heart till the day I saw his picture. I knew he was the one and when I found out he was still available I knew he was an answered prayer. I sound like a crazy cat lady, lol. The last pet that I had such a strong bond with was my pygmy goat so that just makes me the silly animal lady I guess.

Angels Rescuing Kritters
is so touched by foster dads, they too have to say good-bye, even when it hurts. There is not enough said about the foster dads but let me tell you about one special man, Ty has been there from the start with this Doberman gang, (mom and 7 pups confiscated from a drug bust in Placer County). Ty would move over and let them sleep in their bed with them when they were scared, he cleaned up their poopy messes. He built shelters and indoor separators so each dog family had their own space. He transported each to Loomis Basin for spay and neuter. He and his wife saw this through until each were placed in their very own forever home. "All the way to the finish line", they would say. (As seen on our Facebook) Most importantly he has loved each of these Dobermans like his own and he considers them his friends. God Bless you Ty, you are one of my heros.
