Bean was sitting in a shelter unclaimed hoping that someone would take him home. Bean's time was up!? He had angels watching out for him that day! They know who they are! Bean is such a sweet little guy who is eager to please and just wants to be loved! He loves to play outdoors, running through the grass with his foster sibs. He is one speedy pup! Bean is social with dog, cat and child. He is an affectionate puppy that will bring much laughter to your home. He can be quite silly, letting his goofy side show. He also enjoys a long cuddles, snuggling in for a good nap! Bean does love his naps! He is 12 pounds of adorable! You can tell that he wasn't always treated kindly, he may flinch when you reach over his head, backing away and lowering his head, which tells me someone's hand was't always kind to him in his short 4 months of life!? Who would abuse such a sweet creature? However, Bean now knows, through foster care, what it means to live in a house with people who love him. Bean is being potty-trained and doing fantastic. We make sure he gets to go outside every three-four hours and he receives much praise for going "potty" outside. He will probably be trained by his adoption, however his new family will need to continue his obedience training. Bean has good leash manners even my six year old niece is able to take him on a walks. He aslo listens quite well off leash, which is unusual for a young pup. He is learning to respond to sounds as well as verbal commands. This is one smart playful cookie! Bean has such a thankful spirit and only wishes to be loved forever!
