Mario is the small tan one and he's a humans dog. He craves to be on a lap all snuggled warm. Luigi loves attention and is the absolute cutest when he gets excited, but he will snuggle and then retreat to his own little space. They love and need eachother. They're partners in crime.

I adopted Mario and Luigi during a very difficult time in my life back in 2012 I believe. They didn't have backstory, ages or hardly any info other then they are related. I had moved to new home with my kids after we lost everything in our home to mold exposure. I was desperate to give the kids some hope and love and also desperate to feel that myself. I didn't just rescue these 2, they rescued me. It's been a fun 5 years together, and we've overcome some crazy odds and obstacles as a big blended doggy fam. Sadly, this past year has been one obstacle that we have yet to grasp control of, and the doggies are so overshadowed by the chaos of my medical condition & our circumstances. Our whole life has been in utter chaos and it's not coming together as we wish it could. My grand mall seizures have become Uncontrollable (at this point). I can nolonger drive & my husband has had to completely alter his work schedule to accommodate all the things a driving stay at home mom usually does, on top of his work. Our doggies need a cozy lap back. They need a home where someone wants and can spend snuggle time with them. They have been kenneled basically and it's sad they're not getting any attention, other then the basics. I can see their sadness. We want better for them, as well as some relief from all that we have going on. Our doggies want to stay together. It's time for them to continue their mission and rescue the next fam with their cuteness. Can you be their new lap to cuddle?

Both dogs have done great with other dogs and kids. Ideally, I would love to see a retired older couple or single senior take them because their lives have retreated to a quiet place where time is free and a blanket, coffee, and dog cuddles go a long way . .. I want them to be someone's everyday. This is really hard for me to do. But after much consideration, it's only fair I try.

Both dogs up to date with all vacs. Both dogs are fixed. Both dogs are chipped. Both have had lots of teeth extracted prior to me adopting them. Both dogs are kennel trained.
